Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Welcome to Blorble. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Blorble ("we," "us," the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Blorble.

1. Who can use Blorble

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You must be at least 18 years old(or the age of majority where you live) to use any paid feature — tips, bounties, paid downloads, commissions, or payouts. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in provider (Google or Discord) secure.

2. What Blorble is — and isn't

Blorble is a social platform that connects character creators with voice actors. Creators post characters (art, descriptions, scripts, sample audio, optional bounties). Voice actors record submissions, take commissions, accept tips, and sell paid downloads.

We are a platform, not a party to transactions between users. We don't employ voice actors, endorse any user, guarantee the quality of any work, or certify any user's identity beyond what Stripe's onboarding requires. Agreements about scope, usage rights, deadlines, and revisions are between the users involved.

3. Your content

3.1 Ownership

You keep ownership of the characters, scripts, art, voice recordings, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You're responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.

3.2 License to Blorble

By uploading Your Content you grant Blorble a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical reasons (encoding, thumbnails, waveforms), distribute, and publicly display Your Content on the Platform — and to promote Blorble using small excerpts (e.g. a screenshot of your character card or a short audio clip). This license ends when you delete the content, except where retention is needed for transaction records, backups, or legal compliance.

3.3 License between users

Posting a character does not grant voice actors any rights to your artwork or script beyond submitting a take through Blorble. A voice actor who records a submission retains ownership of that recording. Any commercial use — including paid downloads, commissions, and bounty awards — only transfers the rights you and the other user agree to in writing through the Platform. Spell it out before you pay.

3.4 Public by default

Profiles, character posts, voice submissions, comments, likes, and follows are public. Don't upload anything you wouldn't want anyone to see or hear.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Blorble to:

Violations can result in content removal, loss of payouts, suspension, or permanent termination. We may report unlawful activity to authorities.

5. Payments and the marketplace

5.1 Stripe

All money on Blorble moves through Stripe and Stripe Connect. By using a paid feature you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Services Agreement. Stripe collects identity and payout information directly; we do not store your card or bank details.

5.2 Platform fees

Blorble takes a platform fee on bounties, tips, paid downloads, commissions, and boosts. The fee is shown to you at the point of payment before you commit. Stripe also takes its own processing fees. Fees and currencies in effect at the time of the transaction apply.

5.3 Bounties

A bounty is held in escrow by Stripe at the moment the creator posts it. If the creator awards a winning submission before the bounty expires, the funds (minus fees) are paid out to the winner. If the creator doesn't award a winner before the expiration date, the bounty is automatically refunded. Creators can cancel a bounty before any submission has been awarded; once awarded, awards are final.

5.4 Tips

Tips are voluntary, one-way payments from a fan to a voice actor. Tips are final and non-refundable.

5.5 Paid downloads

Voice actors may sell a high-quality download of a specific submission. Purchase grants the buyer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the file for the use case described on the listing. Anything broader (broadcast, advertising, re-licensing, training AI) must be agreed in writing — typically through a commission.

5.6 Commissions

Commissions let a buyer and a voice actor agree on custom work through an in-app thread. The voice actor sends an invoice; the buyer pays; the actor delivers the work; payment is released on approval. If the actor doesn't deliver, or if the buyer doesn't respond within the timeout, our automated rules return funds according to the state of the commission at that moment.

5.7 Refunds and disputes

Tips and completed commissions are final. Bounties and unfulfilled commissions follow the automated rules in sections 5.3 and 5.6. For anything else, the parties to the transaction must work it out between themselves first. If you file a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account while Stripe investigates.

5.8 Taxes

You're responsible for your own taxes on money you earn through Blorble. Stripe may issue tax forms (such as a 1099 in the US) based on your activity.

6. Moderation, reports, and blocks

You can block other users and report posts, comments, submissions, users, or commission threads that violate these Terms. We review reports as capacity allows and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other action at our discretion. We don't guarantee we'll act on every report or that we'll catch every violation.

7. Copyright (DMCA)

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on Blorble infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@blorble.com that includes: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL of the infringing content; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We'll respond in accordance with the DMCA and may remove the content, notify the uploader, and terminate repeat infringers.

8. Account termination

You can stop using Blorble at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, expose us or other users to risk, or remain inactive for a long period. On termination, pending payouts will be released according to Stripe's rules; funds held in escrow for active bounties or commissions will be resolved under sections 5.3 and 5.6.

9. Disclaimers

Blorble is provided "as is" and "as available."We disclaim, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any voice actor will deliver acceptable work.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blorble and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Platform or any transaction between users. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Blorble harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Platform, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or any rights of a third party.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved through good-faith discussion will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts — unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your home jurisdiction says otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies linked from them, are the entire agreement between you and Blorble about the Platform. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
